HorseCompanion was born in Switzerland in 2025, because coordinating a horse share has no business living in WhatsApp threads or Excel sheets. Here's the story behind it.
Why we exist
A horse share is a matter of trust between the owner, the rider, and the horse itself. Care, riding days, costs and emergency contacts all need to be aligned — otherwise a good match quickly turns into frustration. HorseCompanion bundles all that coordination in one place, simple enough that your stable partner uses it too.
The app is mobile-first, because at the stable your phone is what you have in hand anyway. Every feature is free, because horse-keeping is already expensive — and because this project grew out of passion, not an investor roadmap.

Developed in Winterthur, hosted on Swiss servers, with Swiss data protection (revFADP) in mind. Four languages – DE, EN, FR, IT – so every horse share in Switzerland can use the app in their language.
